My training buddies and I were talking during our ride Saturday whether given the chance to go on RAGBRAI or jet off to HAWAII, what we would do. If for some reason you're having a hard time deciding that...these pics might help.....though RAGBRAI is pretty fun! ;)
OK, i think i am obligated to comment on this one....since I somehow feel to be the catalyst of the RAGBRAI vs. Hawaii conversation.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these destinations and experiences appear to be "heavenly" in their own way....one just does so by providing miles and miles of beatiful public access beaches, palms, and sea turtles.....while the other does so by providing miles and miles of bums, sweaty palms, and people riding their bikes as slow as turtles.
I am not sure if this battle of the pleasures will ever be over....
I just pray to those choose to commit to either, that they find a way to enjoy it to the fullest!!

To The Beav-awesome response, thanks for the wisdom! I won't repeat the phone conversation we had, you know how I feel. I love our times together and will look forward to the things we do in the future! You enjoy the sea turtles...and I will enjoy the "slow as turtles", hopefully as I'm passing them and not the opposite. Either way...they will both be enjoyed to their fullest! Love you Brother.
